Domino's has announced that it is going to be trialling a robot that will deliver pizzas to New Zealand customers. The robot is called DRU. The company has been working with the government to get a permit to use this robot to deliver pizzas to hungry customers. Simon Bridges said that using the robot is an exciting opportunity. New Zealand is one of the first countries to be able to use this DRU for testing this pizza delivery robot. No date has been set for when it will be tested, but I hope it comes soon!
My Wonderings:
Wouldn't someone be able to steal the pizza out of it? How would the pizza stay hot? Would it go on the road? How many pizzas could it hold?
